Founded in 2009, the San Joaquin Film Society is a cinema arts organization located in Stockton that is bringing award-winning multi-cultural cinema to California’s Central Valley. Over 150 screenings, featuring 300+ features, documentary and short films from master directors and emerging filmmakers of 40+ countries have been presented at venues across the San Joaquin Valley thanks to the SJFS. The Film Society is home to the San Joaquin International Film Festival, the year round World Cinema Series, and this weekend’s Second Annual Children’s Film Festival. Don’t miss out on three French animation feature films, a shorts program, and a Princesses & Princes costume contest!
